Why your ghee turns solid in winter
Share
Pure ghee sets solid and grainy when it is cold. That danedar texture is a sign of slow-cooked Bilona ghee, not spoilage.
How to store it
Keep the jar at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, and always use a dry spoon. To soften, warm the jar in your hands or near the stove. Ghee is shelf-stable and only deepens in aroma with time.
